Oborevwori Reassigns Two Commissioners

Published:

DELTA State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has directed the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Community and Social Development, Pat Ajudua, to oversee the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services and Girl Child Development, pending further directives.
Oborevwori also directed the Commissioner for Housing, Godknows Angele, to supervise the Ministry of Youth Development with immediate effect.
A statement by the Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Charles Aniagwu, on Friday, May 8, said the development was sequell to the resignation of the former commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Services and Girl Child Development, Orode Uduaghan, and her Youth Development counterpart, ThankGod Harry Trakiriowei, to pursue their political ambitions ahead of next year’s general elections.
Aniagwu, who explained that the former commissioners resigned to contest for seats in the House of Assembly, said the governor appreciated them for their patriotic service to the state and wished them success in their future endeavours.
