*‘Remove My Name From Your Records’
THE Rivers State Commissioner for Youths, Chisom Gbali, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), urging the party to remove his name from its membership records and registers accordingly.
In a letter, dated May 13, and addressed to the party’s chairman, Ward ,1 Oyigbo Local Council, Gbali said the decision was reached after careful reflection and personal consideration.
He stated: “I wish to express my sincere appreciation to the leadership and members of the party for opportunities, relationship and experiences I gained during my time as a member of the party.
“I kindly request that my name be removed from the party’s membership records and registers accordingly.”
His resignation came to light a few hours after Governor Siminalayi Fubara withdrew from the APC governorship primary.
