THE faction of the Rivers State House of Assembly loyal to Governor Siminialayi Fubara has screened and confirmed the appointment of another nominee as commissioner.
Emmanuel Frank-Fubara was confirmed on Monday, July 8 following his invitation contained in a public announcement signed by the Clerk of the Assembly, Dr. G. M Gillis-West, on Sunday, July 7.
It was the third time the Victor Oko-Jumbo-led Assembly would be screening commissioner nominees, having earlier screened and cleared nine commissioners as members of the state executive council, following resignation of Wike’s loyalists in the cabinet.
