Five Officers Jostle For Force Spokesperson Position

Published:

AT least five ive officers are currently in contention for the position of the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), following the reported removal of Benjamin Hundeyin, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) on Thursday, March 5, after just six months in office.
Details of his removal by the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), Tunji Disu, remained sketchy and no official statement has been release concerning the report.
It remained unclear who will succeed him, but it is not unusual that some positions would be vacant when a new IGP assumes office.
The Badagry-born officer was appointed to the position by the former IGP, Kayode Egbetokun.
Those being mentioned for the position include the former office holder, Muyiwa Adejobi, a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Federal Capital Territoty (FCT) Command spokesperson, Josephine Adeh (SP), her Delta State Command counterpart, Bright Edafe, among other.
