Bobrisky Bubbles Back Into Social Life After Jail Term

Published:

CROSS-DRESSER, Idris Olarenwaju Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has regained freedom from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre after serving six months imprisonment for abusing the naira by spraying same at social events in Lagos State.

Recall that Bobrisky was sentenced to six months imprisonment on April 12, without the option of fine, by Justice Abimbola Awogboro, following his arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Bobrisky, who identifies as a woman, but admitted to being male during his sentencing, was spotted in female attire, looking unruffled, fresh and lighter in complexion, with chubby cheeks, in a video on his X handle shortly after regaining his freedom, was seen greeting his fans who came to give him a welcoming reception.

He was accompanied in a Mercedes-Benz G-Class vehicle by his friends, actress, Moyo Lawal, and filmmaker, Eniola Ajao, who awarded Bobrisky the ‘Best Dressed Female Award’ at the premiere of her Beasts of Two Worlds movie.

He wrote on X: “I’ve missed you guys so much. I can’t wait to have you guys and give you guys what you have missed.”

In a video, Bobrisky appeared to be in high spirits, dancing while his friends praise him and call him beautiful, as they said: “We are out; congratulations, Bobrisky; we’re out for fame. They dare not.”

While advising fans against spraying money at events, stressing that it is not just violent crimes that can lead to imprisonment, the cross-dresser added: “It’s not (my experience at prison) okay, but you must abide by the rules.

“Please, don’t spray money or you’ll end up in jail. It’s not just criminal activities, like killing, that can send someone to prison, but also small offences.

“For now, I’m focusing on my friends, those who were there for me, and my fans. We need to party; I am super excited.”
