NIGERIAN musician, Habeeb Okikiola, also known on stage as Portable, has regained his freedom from the custody of the Lagos State Police Command.

    Shortly after his release, Portable wrote on his Instagram page: “God is bigger than everything. Amen, if you believe so. God over everything.”

Recall that Portable was arrested on Tuesday, May 14, over his alleged refusal to complete payment for his Mercedes Benz GLE G-Wagon 350.

The Zazzu crooner purchased the car from Ogunsanwo Temitope (Temmy Autos), a car dealer in Lagos, but failed to complete the payment.

Portable was alleged to have paid N13million after purchasing the vehicle, worth N27million, and was said to have refused to pay the balance of N14million.

The Lagos State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin (SP), confirmed the release of the singer on Wednesday evening after he was granted bail.
