The attacks occurred late last month, as residents were preparing to harvest their crops. While no lives were lost, the attacks have caused significant havoc to farmers, with many barns destroyed.
It came six days after four herders were killed and one other injured in Fili village, as the victims were grazing animals.

He said at a security meeting, the chairman noted that security agencies had been mobilised to the affected areas to ensure peace.
Acting President of Qua’an-Pan Traditional Council, Safiyanu Allahnanan, said traditional rulers have a crucial role to play in restoring peace to communities affected by the attacks.
