Tinubu Nominates Doro To Replace Yilwatda As Minister From Plateau

PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Bernard Mohammed Doro from Plateau State to the Senate for confirmation as a Minister.
Doro is to replace Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, now National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) since July this year.
Born on January 23, 1969, in Kwall, Bassa Local Council of Plateau State, Doro has over two decades of multidisciplinary experience spanning clinical practice, pharmaceutical management, strategic leadership and community engagement in Nigeria and the United Kingdom (UK).
He holds degrees in Pharmacy and Law, an MBA in IT-driven Business Strategy and another Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice.
Doro is a registered Independent Prescriber and Advanced Clinical Practitioner, with extensive NHS frontline experience across urgent care, walk-in centres, GP practices and hospital settings.
He has been actively involved in youth mentorship and social impact programmes within the Diaspora and local communities.
