A RELIGIOUS organisation, the Handlifters Group, has ended a three-day prayers session in Lagos for the successful inauguration and administration of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States (US).
Speaking at the conclusion of the exercise, the Visionary and Lead Pastor of the Handlifters Praying Group, Pastor Chinyere Adegboye, said expressed happiness that God has made it possible for Trump to return as US President, saying he is a man who has seen the good and the ugly parts of America; hence it was as a result of divine intervention from God.
She stated: “There is a fortification that comes from the spirit of God. God will do things by the spirit. If it were not be for God who was on our side when men rose against us, we can do nothing. Our help is not in the hands of anybody, but God.”
She recalled that God protected Trump from two failed assassination attempts.
Her husband, Pastor Adeyinka Adegboye, said whatever God starts, He is able to complete it, noting: “God has started a new thing in the life of America concerning the election of Trump. What He began, He will complete. America is on the threshold of something new.”
He enthused that Trump is an instrument God wants to use to do a new thing in America, adding: “Like Mary, the mother of Jesus, was used to do a new thing in the world, may God find us worthy to be used to do a new thing for the world.
“May God find us worthy to be used in the execution of His purpose. The same God that has found Trump useful will keep him safe from evil.”
He said Trump’s return to the White House announces something great in our lives and that God will deliver him from unreasonable men and that the good things God has started will never stop until it is demonstrated in America.
“God will deliver him from unreasonable men in the name of God and I pray that Trump’s reign will bring joy and happiness to the people. May he enact regulations that would favour the people and the nation of America will rejoice,” he stated.
