THE All Progressives Congress (APC) has released a primary election timetable for the newly restored four state constituencies in Delta, Kogi and other states.
This followed after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) last Saturday restored the House of Assembly constituencies in Delta and Kogi states, and fixed August 21 to 26 for the conduct of party primaries for the restored constituencies.
The party listed the affected constituencies as Abraka, Isoko North II, and Ughelli South II State Constituencies.
The process began on Tuesday, August 18, and is expected to run through Monday, August 24.
Interested House of Assembly candidates are to pay N1million for an expression of interest form, and N5million for a nomination form.
The House of Representatives candidates are required to pay N1million for the expression of interest form and N9million for the nomination form, according to the statement, while female aspirants, youths and physically challenged aspirants were granted a 50 per cent discount on the nomination form for each of the positions, but are required to pay the standard N1million for the expression of interest form.
