DISTRAUT families of worshippers abducted during an attack on an Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) congregation in Omugo, Oro Ago District of Kwara State have lamented that the abductors killed five out of the eight captives, despite their payment of N20million ransom and provided food supplies to secure their release after months of negotiations with their captors.
The kidnappers had reportedly initially demanded N1billion for the release of the victims before reducing the amount to N150million during negotiations, but after prolonged discussions, the families were able to raise N20million and the food supplies, which was part of an agreement reached with them.
